How to Become a Donor

Find a Blood Drive Near You

It's easy. Just answer these three questions:

1. Are you 17 years old or older (or 16 years of age with parental consent)?
2. Do you weigh 110 pounds or more?
3. Are you generally in good health?

If you answered "Yes" to all three questions, then you can probably donate blood. Most people can!

Please call 1-800-GIVE LIFE or use our blood drive search to find a donor location near you.

If you have already donated blood, you need only wait 56 days before making another donation.

For answers to some commonly asked eligibility questions, download our "Who May Recycle Life".

Most donors only give once or twice a year, though they can give up to six times per year. If every donor gave just one more donation a year, there would always be enough blood for everyone and anyone in need.

How to be a platelet donor
If you are eligible to donate blood, you are also eligible to donate platelets.

Your single donation can help save the lives of as many as three people in our community.
